BORESTONE

3.5 MILES RT / ASCENT 962’ / END ELEVATION 1923’

Directions: From the blinking light in the center of Greenville travel south 13.8 miles on Route 6/15. Turn left onto the Elliotsville Road. At approximately 14.6 miles cross the bridge over Big Wilson Stream. Turn left after the bridge onto Mountain Road. Continue across the railroad tracks. The trail is approximately 500’ on the right, with a parking area on the left side of the road. Borestone Mountain is a Maine Audubon sanctuary, no dogs allowed on this trail. A cash-only fee is seasonally charged at the Borestone Welcome Center.
